Hershey Kiss Christmas Gift Jars

This project only takes a few minutes and the results can make great Christmas gifts. I will be sending these in as presents for the kids’ teachers.

You need 3 jelly jars and either 1 large bag or 2 small bags of Christmas Hershey kisses. Divide the kisses by color into three groups, silver, red, and green. Fill one jelly jar with the silver wrapped kisses, one with the red wrapped kisses, and one with the green wrapped kisses.

For the snowman, glue on three black pom-poms or buttons in a line down the front of the jar filled with silver wrapped kisses.

For Santa, glue a black ribbon (I used a glitter ribbon) around the middle of the jar filled with red wrapped kisses. Use sliver glitter glue to make the belt buckle.

For the elf, glue a green ribbon (I used glitter ribbon) around the middle of the jar filled with green wrapped kisses. Use gold glitter glue to make the belt buckle.

I wrapped a glitter chenille stem pipe-cleaner in a coordinating color around the lid of each jar. You could certainly use ribbon instead. I happen to have a whole bunch of these sparkle pipe-cleaners and I am looking for ways to use them! I used the end of the pipe-cleaner to attach a little tag. On one side the tag says either Snowman kisses, Santa kisses or Elf kisses (to match the jar) and on the other side it has the teacher’s name.
