This is a cute suncatcher craft for the kids to make this winter. I cut three hollow circles from a sheet of white stock paper. I kept cutting smaller circles out of the same piece of paper. Once they were cut out, I set them on top of the sticky side of a piece of clear contact paper with the largest on the bottom and the smallest on top. The circles overlapped where they met. For the color fill on this one, we used tissue paper in shades of blue and some white mixed together.
Dark blue went down first for the face and buttons then the rest was filled in with the lighter shades. Once all of the exposed sticky parts of the contact paper inside the circles were covered, I placed another piece of contact paper on top, sticky side down, to sandwich the snowman in the middle. Then I cut away any contact paper outside of the shape.
To finish, we added pipe cleaner arms and a black construction paper hat.
